Captain of the Birds
Created and Devised by Adam Fotheringham and Samuel Rohwer
Captain of the Birds weaves together the story of The Little Prince with true events taken from the life of its author, the French writer and aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupery. After crashing his plane in the Libyan desert whilst undertaking a record-breaking flight, Saint-Exupery and his mechanic spent four days lost, without water, and with little hope of rescue.
Playfully combining theatre styles, stories and original music by Bartholomew Mason, this new show takes the audience on an enchanting journey through wind, sand and stars.
