"A Beckett Quartet was a demanding, compelling and intelligent evening of theatre, with strong performances from all five of the cast, finely tuned to the requirements of the pieces. Strikingly visual in places, emotionally affecting but giving no easy answers as to their meanings, these four plays, for all their bleakness, paradoxically left one feeling brought that little bit closer to life." - Bill Jones
Drop Of A Hat Theatre Company:
We are a small-scale touring theatre company based in Stroud. Making theatre accessible by bringing our work to a wider audience is an important part of our working practice.
The company was launched in 2017 with a tour of Harold Pinter's classic 'The Dumb Waiter.' In 2018 we devised a new show called The Mediators in collaboration with Gerry Flanagan of shifting sands theatre.
Our work is steered towards Clown and the Theatre of the Absurd with the aim of creating a diverse body of work. Our last production, A Beckett Quartet, raised over £2,500 for charity.
